Follow along in a day of the life of Terranea’s resident falconer, Joe Roy III, as he shares his passion for his birds of prey and their vital importance at Terranea. Joe and his majestic birds are responsible for discouraging seagulls and other pesky birds from taking over the grounds in an ethical and eco-friendly way. After much interest in his practice, Terranea has implemented educational sessions teaching guests about the role birds of prey play in our ecology.
